WrapMyGun makes vinyl skins for firearm magazines, receivers and gear. We have been printing and shipping them since 2021, and everything we sell is produced in-house at our shop in Rolling Meadows, Illinois — not sourced from a catalogue and re-labelled. Several thousand orders have gone out the door since we started.
What we make
Our catalogue runs to over 850 designs across five product lines:
- AR-15 mag skins — cut for 30-round AR-15, M4 and M16 magazines in 5.56x45 NATO and .223 Remington. Designed around PMAG-style bodies and fitting most other major brands, including airsoft magazines. One set covers both sides of a magazine. $14.99.
- Magwell skins — cut oversized for the flared magwell area so they conform to the curve when warmed. They seat on billet, forged and polymer lowers, including engraved receivers where a rigid sticker would bridge and lift. $14.99.
- Pistol mag base plate decals — sized for the exposed base plate of a pistol magazine, which stays visible with the magazine seated. Sold twelve to a set, so a full rotation can be marked at once. $14.99.
- Gun skins — wraps for pistol slides and frames. $19.99, or $29.99 for the universal sheets.
- Gear skin sheets — bulk vinyl you trim yourself, for optics, cases, knives, or anything else that needs covering. Available in 8" x 15", 8" x 50" and 24" x 50". $29.99.
If you are browsing by theme rather than by product, the largest collections are skulls, animals, camouflage and patriotic.
How they are made
Every skin is printed on premium vinyl and finished with a matte laminate. The print sits under that laminate rather than on top of it, so the design does not scuff off against a mag pouch or a range bag. The matte finish is deliberate: a glossy wrap catches light and gives away position, and it also looks wrong on most rifles.
The skins are 100% waterproof. They install by peel-and-stick on a surface cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, and they come off again with a little heat, leaving no sticky residue behind. Installation takes about five minutes.
What these are — and what they are not
These are cosmetic vinyl decals. They are not firearms, firearm parts, or components, they contain no functional hardware, and they do not alter how anything operates. They are adhesive graphics that go on the outside of equipment you already own.
